Volunteers information of the Himalayan Banquet

On Saturday 19 July the Himalayan Banquet will take place at Forum North in Whangarei as an fundraising event of Jam Tse Dhargyey Ling.
You can contribute in many ways

Become a Volunteer - Many hands make light work and the more people the more fun. Even little contributions of an hour are very welcome.

Decor Team : 28th June: 9.30am to 3pm in the NZ Yachts hangar behind 4 Fraser St. (side street of Port Road) Whangarei
Everybody is welcome, even the curious visitor. We will be painting some more screens with Himalayan scenery and the Big Stupa.
Professional in painting yaks, prayer stones and Tibetan houses? We look forward to your contribution.
Many colored prayer flags have to be printed as well; kids are also very welcome to help.

 
19 July :  7am-9am: Decorating the Cafler Suites and Bounty Room for the Day Events
9am-5pm : Decorating and transforming the Main Exhibition Hall for the Himalayan Banquet. Installing the screens with the Himalayan scenery and hanging hundreds of prayer flags.

Shopping Team : 18 & 19 July : general shopping and the Saturday Vege Market
Kitchen Team :  18 & 19 July : Kitchen helps for the Tibetan, Mongolian, Nepali and Indian cooks, dishwashers
Waitress/Waiter Team : 19 July : 7pm-10pm: Help to dish out the Banquet, waitressing
Clean Up Team : 19 July :  10.30pm: Packing and cleaning up after the event
