Warm greetings to everyone!

As most of you will be aware – we are in the midst of preparing for our 20 year celebrations this weekend of our Resident Spiritual Teacher Ven. Geshe Sangey Thinley (Geshe-la) being in New Zealand. The centre is looking AMAZING ~ thanks to everyone’s efforts!   Just beautiful. Here below is the schedule of events for the weekend and if you keep scrolling – don’t give up – you will find some beautiful historic photos.  Hopefully we get to see you this weekend – or if you can’t make it – consider sending a message?  Details just below:

Costs

All of the events at the Buddhist Centre for the weekend are being offered free of any charge and everyone is most welcome to attend. There is a charge for the dinners and for the commemoration booklet which all need to be booked and paid for in advance. We do have rather extensive costs involved with organizing this event, so if you’re in a position to be able help out financially by sponsoring something or making a donation that would be greatly appreciated.

DINNERS

We need firm bookings from you if you are planning to join for either or both the dinners – as we need to book and pay for these YESTERDAY 🙂 Saturday 5th @ 6pm at Discovery Settlers in Hatea Drive at $55 per person. Sunday 6th @ Kamo Shiraz at $25 per person. Please make a payment to our account for this, and place the words ‘banquet’ and how many people you are booking for. If you would like to sponsor a sangha meal, or a portion of a meal – add this to the amount let us know by email. COMMEMORATION PRAYER BOOKLET A book containing all the prayers needed for the weekend and some photos and stories is being collated and is estimated to cost $20 each.
