Chenrezig Retreat
Avalokiteshvara (in Sanskrit) or Chenrezig (in Tibetan) is the Buddha of Compassion, the embodiment of all the infinite Buddhas’ compassionate wisdom.
Through Chenrezig practice and the recitation of his mantra, “Om Mani Padme Hum” – we generate a compassionate mind tirelessly attempting to deliver all beings from suffering. With our hearts open we learn to tune our minds to the sensitivity of the suffering of others with wisdom and compassion.
