Ven. Geshe Jamyang Sherab has kindly accepted our heartfelt invitation to teach at the Buddhst Centre on Sundays whilst our resident Spiritual teacher Geshe-la is away in India.

Ven. Geshe Jamyang Sherab will teach on the Six Perfections starting from Sunday 1st February 2015 and will continue for a few weeks.
Anton Weiersmuller has kindly agreed to translate for Geshe Jamyang – through Skype – so the teachings will be available to anyone around the country/world wishing to join by Skype.

Ven. Geshe Jamyang Sherab originates from Kham, Tibet and after escaping to India lived and trained at Sera Je Monastery in Southern India under Geshe-las care. He came to New Zealand in 2000 to construct the Sand Mandala at the dawn of the New Millennium and has since constructed around 20 mandalas (or more) around New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.

We are totally delighted that Ven. Geshe Jamyang has agreed to teach at Jam Tse Dhargyey Ling and so would like to warmly invite you to come along to the teachings on Sundays at 10am and participate in this most auspicious occasion.

On Sunday the 1st February – please bring a dish to share as after teachings we will have a shared lunch for those who are able to stay.

Teachings are free of charge and are suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners alike.

Donations towards costs are appreciated – there is a donation box in the gompa for this purpose. If you need a receipt – please let Ani-la or Maxine know.

All Welcome

It is good to bring offerings like flowers, biscuits or fruit for the altar. Shared Lunch afterwards.

Please feel free to share with anyone you think may be interested.
Thanks and kind regards
the team at Jam Tse Dhargyey Ling
